Ajayvision Education is Hiring for Devops Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for efficient software development, deployment, and operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, system administrators, and QA engineers, to ensure smooth and streamlined delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, expertise in automation and cloud technologies, and a solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain the software development and delivery infrastructure, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, build systems, and version control systems.
2. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure proper configuration management, release management, and deployment practices are followed.
3. Automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of software systems and infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar technologies.
4. Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, GCP) and ensure scalability, high availability, and security of the systems.
5. Monitor and optimize the performance of systems and applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure, networking, and application deployments.
6. Implement and maintain monitoring and logging systems, and establish proactive alerting mechanisms to identify and resolve issues before they impact production systems.
7. Collaborate with development teams to improve the efficiency of the software development lifecycle, optimize build and release processes, and implement automated testing frameworks.
8. Conduct regular security assessments and implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
9. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and tools related to DevOps, cloud computing, and automation, and make recommendations for process improvements and adoption of new technologies.
10. Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders regarding DevOps best practices, tools, and processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
3. Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies.
4. Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Ruby, etc.) for automation and infrastructure management tasks.
5. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar technologies.
6. Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
7. Deep understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar platforms.
8. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and related services such as EC2, ECS, S3, LB, RDS, Lambda, etc.
9. Experience with IaC tool such as Terraform and CloudFormation
10. Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and ELK Stack
11. Excellent Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting with servers such as Ngnix, apache
12. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and knowledge of Git workflows.
13. Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration and Bash scripting
14. Knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and experience in implementing and maintaining secure infrastructure.
15. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
16. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
17. Continuous learning mindset and the ability to stay updated with the latest DevOps trends, technologies, and best practices.
